We are commited to accommodating our clients in every way that we can. Flexibility is a major part of a Disc Jockeys responsibility and more than that a DJ must be skilled at improvising. In order to do his/her job sucessfully, there are a number of accomodations that we must rely on our clients to provide.
1. An area of at least 8 by 10 ft. where your DJ can setup the equipment. This area and the pathway to it should be free of guests and debris. Furthermore, this area is not to be shared during the event and should be occupied by the DJ and equipment only. We provide a table for your convenience. If you plan on providing a table for the DJ, you must notify us so that we can determine if the dimensions will be practical.
2. In addition to the DJ booth, we require some space where we can setup speakers and stands. If there isn't enough room for the stands we may not be able to provide a lightshow as the lighting modules connect to the speaker stands. If this information is not provided ahead of time, we may be unable to provide the type of service and flexibility that you expect.
3. We will need two dedicated grounded 15 amp (minimum) circuits, within 20 ft of the DJs performance area. An Electrical outlet is only as good as the circuit that connects it to the breaker box. If the wiring in the facility has not been kept up to code, you should assume the breaker will trip. This means the music stops until someone finds the breaker and turns it on.
| 4. We go to great lengths to have the most
Popular Music
available at your event, However, we recommend that you request ahead of time any music selections that you require. |
5. Discy Business is dedicated to punctuality and dependability! Of course, for us to accomplish this, our path into and out of the facility must be free of guests and obstacles that may hinder the progress of moving our equipment.
6. Guests are not welcome behind the DJs booth, our Disc Jockeys are trained to treat all guests respectfully and to avoid confrontation, for this reason, we ask that you are aware of this unnecessary distraction.
7. Intoxicated guests stumbling and spilling drinks near the DJs area is simply not a good situation. Discy Business is not responsible for managing this type of unacceptable behavior.
8. We provide a microphone for you to use. Tapping, banging or dropping it can not only ruin the mic but has the potential to overload the sound system causing thousands of dollars worth of damage. Please have someone hold the microphone for children. Also, think of our equipment as a vehicle, you wouldn't allow an intoxicated stranger to drive you car and the mic should be treated the same. This microphone is for well composed guests only.
9. The DJ and equipment must be sheltered from the rain and sun. Discy Business reserves the right to refuse service if the purchaser does not provide adequate shelter. You also have the option of Renting a Canopy!
10. Depending on the type of event, there may be some extremely heavy equipment that needs to be transported into the facility. If there are access considerations such as stairways, narrow corridors, unmaintained pathways or roads, obstacles (including guests), crowds or excessive distance(more than 100ft.) we will need to know about it ahead of time.
